'Carich Care worked with us to tailor the accommodation to meet our daughters needs. This has been a significant element to our daughter being able to live comfortably and safely in a supported living environment. This included a more appropriate setting to help deal with her food anxiety that had caused major problems in her previous residential care.
Our daughter has an extensive weekly activity programme and support staff and management have worked very hard to maintain this for her. Most of the activities are for therapeutic necessity to enable her to maintain a good level of physical and mental health. Hats off to staff for their support.
As with all care provision, problems arise. Management have always been engaging and receptive to solving issues to the benefit of all involved. It’s also really useful to be able to see the daily notes for our daughter on Care Control. Not only does it provide a good record, but also allows for issues to be dealt with in near real time'
'Having re-located to Carich Care in July 2019 at short notice there were quite a few issues and teething problems between the staff team and my son’s needs. I remember a plethora of ABCs based around his behaviour which I was certain was due to misunderstanding of my son’s communication needs. Following CLDT involvement and insightful employment of committed staff, my son now enjoys a rich timetable of activities which he thoroughly enjoys as well as a couple of holidays away. A special shout out to the staff who work closely with my son and ensuring his life at Carich Care is as enjoyable and fruitful as possible. It has taken a while but we are there!'
We cannot thank the director Carol Dyer, the manager Carol Haines and their wonderful team for all their kind care, attention, love and affection, that they give to our daughter every minute of every day. We would 100% and more recommend Carich Care to anyone looking for their loved one to be well cared for
