This was a wonderful occasion to come together and celebrate. Tomas delivered his invitations to friends with the support of his staff, including some who are also supported by Carich Care.
The Tomas staff team put in lots of time and effort to ensure the day went smoothly. They made and decorated a cake, hired a musician, and organized Tomas' space within his home so everyone could enjoy the celebration.
Tomas was joined not only by friends but also by staff with their children, as well as family members, including his grandparents.
It was heartwarming to see people light up around each other, meet new faces, and reconnect with some we hadn’t seen in a while. Staff and the people we support enjoyed dancing and moving to the music.
This event has inspired plans for future gatherings, including a bowling party and a Christmas celebration.
It is such a privilege to work with an amazing team and have these positive interactions with family and friends. We can’t wait for next year!
